Review of the Cork shore excursion to Blarney Castle and Kinsale, with port transfers, guided commentary, pricing, timing, and practical tips.

“Disappointed. The guide would not accompany you into the complex of Blarney Castle. He just dropped you there for 3 and a half hours. You have to go through it by yourself. You will learn nothing and a lot of waiting. He didn't warn you that the wait to get into the Castle is at least 2 1/2 hours. And when it's time to return to the bus, you are on your own to rember the route. The next stop is Kinsale village. It's gaudy and has a lot of neon color. Not worth visiting. Ultimately, the bus didn't drop you off at the Cork Cathedral. We must hike up…”

Walk Cork’s historic center from St Patrick Street to the English Market, with local stories, music, maritime history, and friendly guides.

“I really got a sense of the history of Cork and its Centre City. Noel, our guide, was lovely. Patient, kind and knowledgeable. His passion for his community, city and country shown through. He added some personal touches to the tour that were particularly special. Mt favorite was the mural of Frederick Douglass. I did not know that he had been invited by the city of Cork to speak there. Viewing his mural so many miles away from my home in the US and the day after Dr. King’s holiday was especially poignant. Highly recommend.”

“During our visit to Cork, we were lucky to discover and book the Rebel City Distillery Tour. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Bhagya, one of the owners, who also served as our guide and host. The tour was fantastic, providing a truly personal and engaging experience! Bhagya did an excellent job of guiding us through the distillery’s history and origins, offering a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the distillation, mixing, and bottling processes. We had the opportunity to sample a variety of their spirits, including Gin, Vodka, and Absinthe. Throughout the tour, Bhagya added an extra layer of fun with a friendly game for my girlfriend and me, where…”
